About the Role

JIL is looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. You will also be involved in the development of all server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • 🔹 Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
  • 🔹 Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
  • 🔹 Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • 🔹 Integration of data storage solutions
  • 🔹 Design and implement new features and functionality
  • 🔹 Guide the website’s architecture
  • 🔹 Ensure high performance and availability
  • 🔹 Help formulate an effective, responsive design
Required Skills
  • 🔹 Strong knowledge of PHP and web frameworks
  • 🔹 Understanding MVC design patterns and OOP
  • 🔹 JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 basics
  • 🔹 Security and accessibility compliance
  • 🔹 Awareness of common PHP/web server exploits
Development Journey
  • 🔹 Understand business logic and convert to PHP code
  • 🔹 Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
  • 🔹 Secure app and prevent common exploits
  • 🔹 Collaborate with frontend and QA teams
